Is this the right service for you?

Postgraduate authors deciding where to begin across a long document. This route helps match a chapter and research stage to the relevant writing, editing, methods or analysis service; it is not an additional intervention or a blanket thesis package.

What this can cover

  • Map chapter priorities and supervisor feedback
  • Guide chapter structure and revision using your own research and existing material
  • Select editing or proofreading at the appropriate stage
  • Discuss methods or analysis through the relevant specialist service

Choose by stage, not just document length

  • Planning: use methodology consultation or a methods-plan review.
  • Developing chapters: choose guided writing development and revision using your own ideas, evidence and existing material.
  • Revising a draft: choose academic editing, with author queries where meaning is uncertain.
  • Final checking: proofreading is useful once substantive revisions are settled.

For a 20,000-word document, proofreading is $400, academic editing is $600, and writing development and revision starts at $1,000 if the entire word count requires that service. You may only need support for selected chapters. Methods and analysis projects are quoted separately.

What you can expect to receive

  • A scoped quote identifying the chapters and type of intervention
  • The outputs of the selected service, such as edits, a revision plan or methods feedback
  • Clear author decisions and next steps for the agreed stage

The quote confirms the specific deliverables and review format. See a clearly labelled synthetic demonstration.

Prepare a useful enquiry

  1. Identify your programme stage, chapter priorities and approximate chapter lengths.
  2. Summarise supervisor feedback and institutional support rules.
  3. Explain whether the concern is language, argument, methodology or analysis.

Support for your own work

The thesis remains your research and your submission. We can support a defined part of its development within your institution’s rules. We do not write a complete thesis or dissertation for submission as your own. A consultation or staged edit does not replace supervision.

You review, adapt and finalise the work. Tell us the relevant institution or journal requirements so we can agree an appropriate scope before starting.

Questions about this service

What does the starting price include?

The price covers the agreed intervention, not every possible task associated with the document. We confirm the sections, word count or project deliverables and total in the quote. Any further work needs an agreed scope.

How do deadlines and follow-up revisions work?

Turnaround is confirmed with your quote. Tell us your deadline and the feedback you expect to need; the quote will specify the follow-up included and any additional work. No fixed deadline or unlimited revision package is assumed.

Should I send my document now?

Start with a brief description. Do not include manuscript text, participant information, confidential feedback or raw datasets in the initial enquiry. If material is needed to scope the work, agree an appropriate way to share it.
